Michalina Koch
I'm a Polish illustrator and painter living in Gotha, Germany. I studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław and at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle. My fields of work weave into each other: scraps of paper, paint, ink, watercolour and digital refinement – and sometimes huge paintings on walls. In picture books I look for characters with real feelings and pages that leave quiet space for the words.
