From sketch to page. Every character starts with pencil studies – how it sits, flies, looks up or sulks. Then come watercolour, ink, scraps of paper and collage, until the figure feels alive. At the end I scan the originals and refine them digitally: details, light and colour – until the illustration is ready for print and tells its story.
